Claire & I talk… ducks

Honeysuckle & Hilda and (I think) Happy

Even if you have no interest in ducks, even if you don’t have an hour in your schedule, I think you will love this.

A gentle chat with the wonderful Honeysuckle and Hilda, talk of what husbands can learn from ducks, finally the answer to why duck eggs are better for cake (but no use for a souffle), and why peas are every duck-keepers best kept secret.

For those interested, some more resources below, but it’s also just rather a lovely chat.

@dunkin.ducks - Kristine Ellis, I discovered this weekend she has a new book “Raising Ducks” coming soon. Might be quite good.

@monalogue - Mona’s runner ducks in her gardens are adorable and she is great for artistic duck content

@flytessofancy - not necessarily to promote their products (although they are good) but because Phil gives so many tips on poultry husbandry, including ducks.  He has a YouTube channel as well. I spend a lot of time thinking “ooh, what a good idea”

@arthurparkinson - I know he is chickens really, but how could we not include Arthur? He has also been v generous with his duck knowledge.
