At the moment, the only way to buy seeds is to be a member of Gather. As I am sure you know, lots of people want seeds at the moment and I want to make sure I can fulfil my promise to the people in Gather that they will be able to grow flowers from my seeds this year.

I mean, I think so, but I would say that wouldn’t I? But for me, Gather has been a revelation, a group of the loveliest, kindest people and I get to talk about seasons, flowers, dogs, soil, happiness and colour, all day long.

The membership is £15 a month. This gets you access to all of the digital content, a pass into the Gather shop, and an invite to the private members’ Instagram account.

Absolutely. If you are a member, you have access to the Gather shop which not only has seeds but also has the odd hand dyed textile, and Niwaki tools at 25% discount. If you are anywhere in the world apart from England, Scotland, Wales or the Channel Islands then I cannot post you seeds, but I can send you any of the non-seed items.

The seeds in the shop are already discounted for you. It is simpler that way.

Of course, but if you were previously on the £10 a month membership, your new one will still be on the £15 a month rate.

The honest answer is that my supply of envelopes dried up. I am entirely supportive of the global safety measures and I do not wish to put any individual or company under pressure to work in an unsafe or risky environment in order to support my wonderful, but ultimately non-essential, business. Whilst there is some supply now, it is a bit patchy and I am unable to offer shops bulk orders. I will keep reviewing this but at the moment I have had to reduce my stockists down to two or three.
