The perfect autumn bowl with India Hurst

I am so utterly thrilled to have India as part of the Gather team. She is an exceptional talent and I feel very lucky and very privileged that I (and you!) will get to learn from her. This is the first video in her series for us and it makes the most of the very very last flowers of the season, the beautiful rusts, yellows, reds and browns of the autumnal foliage, with some finishing touches of vines and grasses.

I’ve watched the video a few times now and I’m going to be having a go with a mini version tomorrow. If you’d like to kick back and just watch an artist at work, feel free to use this as a restful alternative to Netflix. However, if you would like to join me in having a little play and experiment, that would be amazing. Just collect what you have in the garden, a few twigs and branches as well as any dahlias still standing, and follow the steps laid out by India. I’ll be posting mine on Instagram on Wednesday, and I’d love to see yours too.
